Yamaha Digital Electric Steering: fit and exclusions.

Digital Electric Steering is Yamaha's bolt-on steering unit for select Helm Master EX digital outboards from 150 to 350 hp. It does away with steering pumps, valves and hoses, which frees up bilge space, and it draws less power than a hydraulic unit. Yamaha excludes some engines by name, listed below, so fitment is confirmed by engine model and year.
