Boat Pickup · Virginia Beach

We pick your boat upand bring it in for service.

Coastal Marine can come get your boat, bring it to the Shore Drive shop for service, and return it — so you don't have to haul and trailer it yourself. Whether we can pick up a given boat depends on its size and how reachable it is to tow. Reach out and we'll work out the details.

How boat pickup works

Boat pickup,
in three quick steps.

Getting a boat serviced usually means hauling it out and towing it across town yourself. For a lot of local boats, we take that part off your plate.

1. You schedule it

Call the shop, tell us where the boat is and what service it needs, and we'll confirm the pickup details and any cost before we set a time to come get it.

2. We come get it

We collect the boat and bring it to our shop on Shore Drive. You don't haul it or trailer it yourself.

3. We service it and bring it back

Our Yamaha-certified techs do the work at the shop, then return the boat once the service is finished. We service it — we don't store it.

What we pick up

Depends on the boat,
not a fixed length.

We pick up smaller boats and larger ones — what matters isn't a length on a chart, it's whether we can reach and tow it: trailer access, and clearance for things like getting a taller boat under power lines on the way to the shop. The Lynnhaven Boat Ramp on Crab Creek, in Chicks Beach, is one of the points we launch and retrieve from. If you're not sure your boat works, a quick call to the shop settles it before we schedule.

Whether we can pick up a particular boat — and how it works — comes down to the boat and the trip to reach it. The simplest next step is to reach out, tell us about your boat and where it is, and we'll work out the details with you. This is pickup as part of your service, not a hauling-for-hire or long-distance transport business.

One thing worth stating plainly: Coastal Marine is a service center, not a storage yard. Your boat is at the shop only for as long as the work takes, then it goes back to you.

Who it's for

Built around
the way you keep your boat.

Plenty of owners keep their boat in the water all season and never trailer it. When that boat needs an annual service, a repower, or a repair, getting it to a shop is its own project — splash schedules, a trailer, a tow vehicle, an afternoon.

Boat pickup removes that step. We bring the boat to the same Yamaha-certified bench that handles every service at the shop, do the work, and bring it back — so the only thing you have to schedule is the phone call.

The short version

We get the boat,
you skip the trailer.

Coastal Marine picks up boats around Virginia Beach and services them at its Shore Drive shop — pickup as part of the service, not storage and not long-distance hauling. Whether your boat qualifies comes down to size and reach, and the easiest next step is to reach out so we can work out the details. For owners who'd rather not trailer their boat across town, it's the easiest way to get factory-certified service done.
