How boat pickup works

Getting a boat serviced usually means hauling it out and towing it across town yourself. For a lot of local boats, we take that part off your plate.
1. You schedule it
Call the shop, tell us where the boat is and what service it needs, and we'll confirm the pickup details and any cost before we set a time to come get it.
2. We come get it
We collect the boat and bring it to our shop on Shore Drive. You don't haul it or trailer it yourself.
3. We service it and bring it back
Our Yamaha-certified techs do the work at the shop, then return the boat once the service is finished. We service it — we don't store it.
What we pick up

We pick up smaller boats and larger ones — what matters isn't a length on a chart, it's whether we can reach and tow it: trailer access, and clearance for things like getting a taller boat under power lines on the way to the shop. The Lynnhaven Boat Ramp on Crab Creek, in Chicks Beach, is one of the points we launch and retrieve from. If you're not sure your boat works, a quick call to the shop settles it before we schedule.
Whether we can pick up a particular boat — and how it works — comes down to the boat and the trip to reach it. One thing worth stating plainly: Coastal Marine is a service center, not a storage yard. Your boat is at the shop only for as long as the work takes, then it goes back to you.
